What sets us apart
Built out over the Caribbean
The largest over-the-water structure on Utila. Wherever you are on the property, the sea is splashing just below you, yet you are right in the center of East Harbor's shops and restaurants.
Year-round whale sharks
Utila sits near the continental shelf with strong upwellings, making it a whale shark hot spot all year. Peak season, February to July, brings the most consistent sightings.
All-inclusive from $1,240 per person
5, 7, 10 and 14-night packages with Honduran tax included (double occupancy). Three meals a day, three boat dives a day including night dives, tanks and weights, island transfers, and a welcome cocktail and bottle of wine. Non-divers can come along at a lower rate.
Gear set up for you
Every morning and afternoon your tanks and gear are ready on the boat, with cold water, fresh fruit and fish ID books to go over the dive with your personal guide.
Private porch for every room
All eight rooms have a screened porch with hammocks, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, dual vanities and daily housekeeping, with coffee delivered to your door each morning.
Sunset Bar & Grill
A west-facing bar for nightly sunsets, local beers and Caribbean cocktails, plus a full kitchen serving breakfast, lunch and dinner from 6:30 am to 9 pm.
Technical diving & lionfish hunting
Utila's wide, steep walls make it a prime place to learn tec diving. You can also become a licensed lionfish hunter and eat your catch the same day.
A dock big enough for a helicopter
Seriously, it has been done. Use it for morning yoga, snorkeling the artificial reef, or watching eagle rays after dark.

All-inclusive dive packages start at $1,240 per person for 5 nights, with 19% Honduran tax included (see current rates at utilalodge.com/utila-dive-packages). Packages include three boat dives a day, with night dives built in. Your tanks and gear are set up and waiting on the boat every morning and afternoon, with cold water and fresh fruit on board and a personal dive guide to help you log what you saw. Being centrally located, the lodge reaches all of Utila's sites: sloping walls to the south, sheer north-side drop-offs, wrecks and seamounts minutes from the harbor. Utila's steep walls also make it a top place to learn technical diving.
Snorkeling
Snorkel the artificial reef right off the lodge dock, where eagle rays cruise past after dark. Non-divers can join all-inclusive packages at a lower rate, and whale shark excursions and trips to the uninhabited Utila Cays are easy to add.
